Lella
Pomeroy Carol Dean Master's degree from Brigham Young University in organ performance
and pedagogy; taught several years in the BYU group organ program; studied
organ with Douglas Bush, Richard Elliott, and Don Cook; teaches at BYU Organ
Workshop; past dean of the Utah Valley Chapter of the American Guild of
Organists (Colleague); teaches group organ classes and private organ
lessons. Will travel to students' churches or homes to give lessons
(from Draper to Santaquin). Students from
further away would need to come to Provo for lessons. Has prepared a hymnal--Hymns from the LDS Hymnal Marked
for the Organ--with fingering, pedaling,
ties, common tones all marked to assist a pianist in understanding how to
play the hymns more correctly on the organ. To order a copy of this

responsible for education in the Salt Lake Chapter AGO Chapter and is a
Colleague of the American Guild of Organists. She has a BA degree from
the University of Utah in Humanities and minored in choral music. She has studied
organ with Bonnie Goodliffe for several years, as well as with Don
Cook. She teaches group and private organ lessons in the Draper/South
Sandy Community and frequently accompanies local choirs and soloists,
including Draper Arts Councils annual performance of Handel's Messiah. She
